Experienced singer/songwriter/rhythm guitarist, Jason has been playing the Tampa Bay music scene for over 20 years. During this time Jason has created a lot of buzz with his powerful and versatile vocal style and stage presence.
Born in North Carolina, Jason's family moved to Ruskin Florida when he was very young. Both parents, being musically inclined, raised Jason to love music from the beginning.
Jason wrote his first song at the age of 7 on a keyboard his parents had gotten him for his birthday. Over the years he began to hone his craft, writing better songs with catchy hooks. He played his first gig at the tender age of 9 at a street festival in Shelby, NC.
At the age of 12, Jason received his first electric guitar as a christmas gift. He also received a Ricky Van Shelton songbook to help him learn his new instrument. By the end of the night he was already playing his first song, "Life Turned Her That Way."
Jason learned to play his guitar and wrote more and more songs. Each better than the last. At the age of 13 he played a "one set" gig at a local bar in Tampa Florida and brought the house down. Jason was hooked.
Jason has been singing and writing ever since. He is formally the lead singer of Zebron & James, a popular acoustic duo in Tampa Florida, and is currently performing solo across the Bay Area. He also produces cover songs and Youtube videos under the Jason James Music label.
Jason has cut & released numerous studio songs including "That's What Daddy's Do," a song that made local terrestrial radio.
